Life in quarantine over the past couple of weeks has changed a lot and we’re all finding ourselves adjusting to a new normal. We will get through this eventually! In the meantime, here at The William have been gathering a few tips to help you get through the long days ahead while staying healthy, nourished, and looking good!
1. Shop Your Favorite Clothing Boutiques Online!
Boerne, Texas is home to some fantastic clothing boutiques that are owned and operated by members of our own community! You can help them out by taking advantage of some amazing deals online! Shops like Ella Blue, Chloe Rose, and The Alley on Main are offering discounts on their clothing, shoes and accessories through their websites and Facebook! You can shop online, update your wardrobe, and support your local economy all from your couch!
2. Quarantine-Friendly Grocery Shopping!
Going to the grocery store these days can be slightly intimidating and stressful. Many of the restaurants in Boerne are helping you get healthful produce, meat and eggs from their own suppliers! The Dog & Pony and Little Gretel are just a couple of restaurants in our area offering grocery boxes for curbside pickup! Call your favorite Boerne restaurant to see if you can get your name on a box or pay for a box for someone else!
3. Quarantine Kits from Cypress Grille!
Anyone else tired of cooking yet? Cypress Grille on Main Street has you (and your family) covered! Pre-order a family-sized meal for curbside pick-up! Smoked meats, hearty side dishes, all prepared and packaged just for you! Call (830) 248-1353 to find out when the next pick-up date will be and place your order!
4. FREE Online Exercise Classes!
Stay active even while you’re social distancing! With gyms and studios being closed down temporarily for public safety, many trainers have taken to the internet to offer FREE classes to those quarantined at home! Gro Yoga has begun producing yoga videos for free, as well as Boerne Yoga and MelMarie Yoga offering Facebook Live practices! Check with your favorite studio or gym to find out what you can do at home to stay active!
