This 4th of July is going to be strikingly different than any we’ve seen in the Hill Country. We have become so used to the 4th being a celebration of friends, family and independence. BBQ, fireworks, red-white-blue jello mold desserts, and fun cocktails; coolers filled with beer, floating down the river, and chasing children, are now on hold. Everything seems to be on hold, but our independence is NOT.
Here at The William, we respect the dangerous spike that has occurred in our state, and found ourselves compelled to offer a deeper experience of what we are used to. It is our highest value to be able to go over-the-top for our guests, and in doing so, we prioritize safety and cleanliness first. Our linens are all bleached, and washed in scorching hot water. Our curtains and carpets, rugs and upholstery are all steam cleaned between guest stays. Masks, gloves, individual tissue packets and immunity boosting teas are all provided for each guest as they explore our relatively safe town.
This 4th of July, we want to make special, as many of us are having a harder time with businesses being shut down, and celebrations on hold. As a lodging facility, we are considered essential, and take this obligation VERY seriously. In order to make your 4th special this year, we encourage you to stay with us and will be offering elevated dining on the balcony from Cypress Grille, where wine pairs with gourmet American fair! We encourage you to grab your family and get away to the Hill Country, where you can kick back and reflect on the freedoms we generally take for granted.
Our Sonesta-style balcony, elevated above Main Street is the PERFECT location to people watch, drink coffee in the mornings, and keep safe distances from any crowds that might be hustling and bustling that day.
