Everything we do tells a story about us and how we feel our worth. Regardless of what you do, do it with the care and respect of the reason for which you are doing it. Maybe the reason is your children, your spouse, your parents, your home, yourself, or your pets. Perhaps the reason is all these things, or more. Anything you invest your time and energy into is an expression of you, and therefore deserves to be done to the very best of your ability. Even the daily, mundane tasks can hold value, and add value to your life and to the lives of those you support.
“If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing well. If it is worth having, it is worth waiting for. If it is worth attaining, it is worth fighting for. If it is worth experiencing, it is worth putting aside time for.” – Oscar Wilde
This is something we, at The William try to embody with everything we do; from folding the toilet tissue into a perfect corner, making the beds perfectly, to placing the soap just right in the soap dish. Each thing we do is an expression of how we value not only ourselves, but our guests and each other. These small things may go unnoticed, but they are paramount to the holistic experience of staying with us. It is our subtle way of saying, “You are exquisitely worthy.”
Performing work that is anything less than our best would be an insult and disrespectful to ourselves and the things we care most about. Although these sound like incredibly high standards, it is simply expected when you are part of the Team at The William. Our guests’ comfort and experience at our hotel is of the utmost importance to us, and we will continue to refine our work to offer only the best to our guests.
